Welcome to Field Notes

Our website has been steadily building up resources for a while now: the hemp regulations explainer, the FAQ, the resources. Lots of information and helpful guides, however those pages get revised but don't always tell you when something changed or what we think about it.

Field Notes will be the other missing part, to compliment our Instagram where we're already active, as well as the resources we're already making here. We're aiming for slightly longer-form content, dated, written when there's something worth writing about:

• Regulation changes as they land, and what they mean in practice rather than on paper.
• Notes from cultivation work: environment control, automation, genetics, testing.
• News and what's happening in the world of medicinal cannabis
• The occasional deep-dive into a licensing or compliance question that keeps coming up.

Freely passing on that which we've learned, often the hard way, by putting in the work so that you don't have to repeat those mistakes.

Right now
